Kind of a Big Deal: Amy Butler's Blossom Magazine!

An actual conversation in our house recently after I'd gotten off the phone with an old, dear friend:


Me: "It was so good talking to Aleah."

Husband: "Yeah, that was really nice." 

Me: "I love old friends...I love people! Everyone is wonderful!!!"

Paige: "Especially AMY BUTLER!"

Me: "???....well...yeah!"


I guess it's no secret that I'm a pathetic, slobbering fan of Amy Butler's work. So try to imagine for a moment (close your eyes...no, wait...read the next line, then close your eyes.) how "big stuff" I felt when she asked if she could use one of my projects as inspiration for a project in the premier issue of her new online magazine, Blossom!! AHHH!!! Biggest deal ever, guys. Just, ever. You should have seen the dancing! (But I'm so glad you didn't.)

 She used my bubble skirt refashion as inspiration for her own version on page 177, you have to see it! :o)

The magazine is just so, so beautiful. And I love Amy's vision philosophy for it: "Blossom is all about loving your life and living it beautifully with a spirited voice for creativity."-Amy Butler

The entire issue is wonderful, but definitely don't miss Monica Lee's "Shine" and Amy's "Natural History"! (I may have cried.) I especially enjoyed those.
