Snow Beautiful
It's snowy at our house.
We haven't had much opportunity to be out in it yet, but the other day as I was on my way to a friend's house, I saw this out my windshield and I just couldn't help but stop and snap a couple of photos:
(I know--no coat!! Bad Mommy. It really was only about 30 seconds, I promise.)
Dear God:
If the only thing you ever did for me was create snow, I would still be worshipping you.
Thanks for making the world so pretty to look at. :O)
Have a beautiful day, readers!
Love you,
Disney
Yes, so beautiful! Love the photos. We just had about three days of white beauty. Now it's back to rain.
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of your week!
Oh beautiful pixie. <3
ReplyDeleteamen!
ReplyDeletePaige is like a little snowfairy... With leather booties and heart-stockings :)
ReplyDeleteYou should come to my blog and check out what my little darling was wearing in the "elements" yesterday. Of course...it was 64 degrees...

Your little girl is adorable! Love your attitude towards snow - I need a bit more of that because here in Wyoming the snow gets old right around now because our snow season lasts from October-April (or May!).
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of Paige, and I LOVE HER TOP! I look forward to seeing more tutorials for little girl's clothes. In the mean time keep on craftin'
ReplyDeleteHie Disney,
ReplyDeleteI'm Yanti from the other side of the globe - Malaysia. We only have Summer all year round here, I wish I could feel snow too.
Paige is one pretty girl.
These photos are magical! I am just the slightest bit jealous - no snow for us in California's bay area. I love the ton-sur-ton white look with Paige's clothes and the snow.
ReplyDeleteHappy to see you are posting again!
LOVE the photos! We have barely had any snow, and I'm in Boston! Where're the Nor'easters?!
ReplyDeleteI so know how you feel! I grew up in southeast Asia, so I'm always amazed by the changing of seasons! We had the snow last week too! (we live in western WA) It was so beautiful!... but by Friday, after being housebound all week... oh my goodness. I actually thanked God for the rain that melted it all away. Never expected that! :-)
ReplyDeleteJoy: I can't believe how much snow you guys have been getting over there. I have lots of friends over there who've been without power for days!
ReplyDeleteWow that is so gorgeous! We basically NEVER get snow in Texas so I've only seen snow like twice in my life when I left the state. I'm a little jealous! Also beautiful pictures and a lovely little girl!

ReplyDeleteIsn't our God amazing!
Beautiful pictures
ReplyDeleteHi Disney,
ReplyDeleteI love (LOVE) your tutorials, and I just wanted to let you know that I recognized one here http://theberry.com/2012/01/30/mystery-misc-30-photos-2/ that's yours and wasn't attributed to you. I'm not sure if it matters, but I thought you should know :)

Hi, I sent you an email but in case you didn't get it...I tried your tutorial for your nov '09 jersey skirt and I ma having trouble with it. I have about a 28.5-29 inch waist, and I made the waist band 29inches and it is perfect. My hips are 36-37inches. Once I was done sewing and went to try on the skirt, the stitches started ripping a bit. I used a jersey fabric with stretch (but maybe not quite as much stretch as yours). I would love to finish this skirt so I can wear it, but it's almost like I need a zipper or uttons at the back, or else how can I get it on over my butt/hips. Can you help me at all? Thanks, Jill (email is rjalston@shaw.ca)
ReplyDeleteI love snow when it is pretty and white! We have had unseasonablly warm weather in Northern Michigan so our snow is dirty :(.
ReplyDeleteWow that is so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteJill: Hmm. Could it be the gathering stitches that you are feeling break? Usually that will happen as you stretch out the skirt. (Which is fine, it doesn't hurt anything, and won't make holes since you've sewn the skirt to your waistband with a zigzag stitch.)
ReplyDeleteI have almost the same measurements as you and I didn't have any trouble with my zigzag stitches breaking; it shouldn't be that. Let me know if you're having more problems!
I wish we had this kind of snow! We barely got any this year:/
ReplyDeleteHi i’m Heather! I have a question for you! Please email me :)
