A Robe for Paige!
Dana, from MADE just finished her Beach Robe (made from a towel!) pattern for kids. Oh my! How cute it is!! She asked me and a few others to test the pattern for her in advance, and here is the one I made for Paige:
She loves it!!
Great for the beach (or lake)
Great for the bath!
It was perfect because Paige hates being cold after a bath and can't keep her towel on, so I've been looking for an inexpensive robe for her. :O)
Anyway, you can check out the pattern here if you wish! It has instructions for lots of different versions, so you can really make it your own. It's fun!
And! Speaking of patterns, I'm almost done with the fox. It's not as fancy as Dana's, but hey, I'm not Dana. I'm Disney! And this will be my first pattern! I'm excited.
So have a great night! Happy Father's Day tomorrow!!
Love,
Disney
This is such a good idea! And Paige looks absolutely adorable in it :)

adorable! I want one in my size :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks adorable. My daughter has been asking for a robe. I have been meaning to make her one for a while now.
ReplyDeleteIt's adorable! A pretty robe for a pretty girl :)
ReplyDeleteYOu did such a great job. I was so excited when Dana posted this pattern only to learn that it doesn't go up to my girls' size which is an 8. The one that you made come out so nicely that I might just have to buy it and try sizing it up.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, I love it in yellow. Great review for Dana's pattern, I don't do patterns either so it i great to know it is easy :)
ReplyDeletePaige looks adorable, and I'm so excited for the fox pattern!

ReplyDeleteI love that vintage-y print you used for the lining. Perfect for Paige!
ReplyDeleteHello- can you tell me how big paige is and what size robe you made her?
ReplyDeletethanks
I love the fabric you used!
ReplyDeleteOh the robe is so cute! And so is Paige and those dimples!!
ReplyDeleteSo very cute! This is definitely going on my to do list.
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny :). I never would have thought you'd never sewn with a pattern! I love you for saying yes...and for making something super cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with everyone!
And I'm excited to see Foxy :)
DKB: Paige is a 4T (max) and I made the largest size. As you can see, there's plenty of growing room! I think next time I'll make the smaller one.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny and silly too, Disney. You're very girly and seem to be a great mom! Love the blog! Have a good week :D
ReplyDeleteIt's really cute! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI almost fell off the couch when I saw the picture of Paige sitting on the little stool...I had one of those when I was little! My parents still have it in there hall bath for my kids to use. "Step up, I'll help you work and play, or sit and rest on a busy day."
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you posting again!

Paige could not be any more adorable even if she tried!! She is so cute it makes me miss when mine were that age. And I love the way the robe turned out too.:0)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, and I love the color you chose for Paige's robe and the flower on the front! If only I had a little one to make one for! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! You always take pictures in the most amazing looking places!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute robe! I just found your blog...yay! I must make this for my girls! I love the one you made though!
ReplyDeleteWell, Paige is absolutely great here. I like the design and color of her robe, truly adorable. There's no much detail on the robe which I admire most.
ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! I just had to mention, that I used to have that exact step stool when I was her age!! I have no idea what happened to in, but since I am short, I used it up until I moved out of my parents house at 20!
ReplyDeleteThis bathrobe is very cute, also the color selection is just phenomenal.
