Because Rings are Pretty (Sponsored Post!)
Hmm? A sponsored post? I know it's not like me.
But I stumbled across this Etsy shop whist (I like saying "whilst") doing some Christmas shopping, and I liked it so much that I (nervously) asked them if they would like to do a sponsored post for Ruffles and Stuff. Of course there was a little something lovely in it for me, but I'll have to wait to share that with you. :o)
Anyway, I wanted to pass along this shop in hopes that it might help with your Christmas shopping as well!
The shop, Renaissance Jewelry, specializes in titanium rings for men and women. To tell you the truth, I'm not much of a jewelry wearer, but I instantly fell in love with their beautiful, simple designs. Then when I saw their amazing prices, I was sold.
Prettyprettypretty! It makes me want to get married about 100 times so I can wear them all. (To the same man, of course!) :o)
They also have a great variety of tension set birthstones.
I'm excited to share which one I got! But I'll have to wait. :o)
If you're not familiar with titanium jewelry, it's lovely! It's not as precious a metal as gold, but it's more durable, lightweight and comfortable. It's hypoallergenic, it never discolors or rusts, and my favorite-it's much less expensive than gold. I used to sell titanium bands when I worked with fine jewelry a few years ago, and I loved the look and quality.
So there's my opinion, for what it's worth! I hope you don't feel like this is propaganda, I'm kind of excited about it, so I wanted to share! Wedding sets for under $50? Plus free shipping in the US?! Amazing.
I enjoyed doing business with them, and I noticed that they have wonderful feedback from hundreds of others. I would definitely recommend them!
Ok, off the soapbox now! Best of luck with everyone on your list this Christmas! (Yay Christmas!!)
Love ya,
-Disney

Religious rings...
And some fun rings for special interests. School names, sport teams, etc.
I'm not a huge "Twilight" fan, but how hilarious are those Edward and Jacob rings??
There are over 200 designs, and offer gold and sterling inlays for something extra special.
And of course, they offer engraving in various fonts.
I'm excited to share which one I got! But I'll have to wait. :o)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this! I've been looking for a quality ring within our budget to buy for my husband since he cannot wear his wedding band anymore. I purchased one to surprise him with at Christmas - I'm so excited :)
ReplyDeleteWow, how mean and hurtful.
ReplyDeleteLove the post, Disney! Glad to see you are getting into the Christmas spirit even though you aren't near a Target. :0)
I've been obsessing over all of your tuts lately, and I think I will not be satisfied until I get one of everything!
Thanks for all of your posts! Love them!!!
Eh, I get mean comments on my blog too, I ignore them, or use passive aggressive posting for the next week! haha.
ReplyDeleteThis week, while in Hawaii, my husband lost his ring, and because we ALMOST missed our flight, I didn't wear mine. So, we bought some Titanium ones in HI. They are AWESOME. Mine have Sea Turtles etched into it, and his has Waves, cause the waves stole his other one! I'm checking out this store too though, cause I don't know how long I can have Sea Turtles staring at me without wanting to get back to Hawaii!
that was a horrible comment! I am so excited you shared this! i LOVE titanium jewelry! I am glad you shared your find with us. :)

thanks for sharing a really great store!!!
ReplyDeleteBeen married for 25 years and neither have worn a ring for the past 15 or so. I seem to be allergic to gold and he almost lost a finger jumping off a helicopter and catching the ring on a piece of metal.
ReplyDeleteWell, to make a short story even longer, his current job is very safe and I'm thinking a new metal might be the answer to my hives.
Thank you SOOOO much for the link. I don't care if you got something or not, because quite honestly, >> I << got something out of it too! So HA!
Thats so nice of you Disney.. I think you liked the ring very much and you wanted others also to feel the way you felt when you received it:) You are so thoughtful.. You have a very good taste.. Obviously the rings are soo pretty :) :)
ReplyDeleteSo thankful you posted this! My hubby lost his ring in the Moroccan Ocean while on chiropractic missions. boo! I cried. And since then I have been looking for the right titanium. Think I found it! Take care and thanks again for sharing. I just LOVE everything you post and how it brings out the girl in me;)
ReplyDeleteI got my husband a Titanium band. It has held up pretty well, he finds it comfortable, and if it is ever gets too scratched up or he loses it it will be easy to replace. And I'll check out this shop first for sure! It is hard to find titanium in such attractive styles!
ReplyDeleteHi Disney! i started following your blog around a year ago and fell in love with it! I'm so happy that you are back! thanks for bringing so much inspiration! =)
