Toy Caterpillar Tutorial (with pattern!)
I remember when I first started blogging, back in August, I had crazy "someday" dreams of being featured on the "famous" blogs.
One of those blogs was "Luvin the Mommyhood". Only the amazing people got to be featured there. :o)
Well I'm happy to report that my little dream has since come true several times, and it's coming true again today! Shannon asked me to be a guest during her "Babyhood Bonanza" event, so I'm sharing this snuggly little friend that I made:
It's an "anyone-can-make-it" stuffed caterpillar, with a fun crinkly inside, and little ribbon "legs" to drool on!
But once you've invited this little friend into your home-watch out! Because they can be a little sneaky sometimes. Especially when they're hungry....
those are so cute! and your daughter's skirt is adorable! i bet you made it!!!!????
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I will have to pop on over there to check it out.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and fun.
ReplyDeleteI love your fun and playful personality. It comes out in your writing.
Splendid: Thanks! It actually came from the clearance rack at the Children's Place a couple of years ago :o) I think it's like an 18m, and she can still wear it!
ReplyDeleteDisney, you're fabulous! I can't wait to make one of these for my little girl!
ReplyDeleteGosh, could Paige be ANY cuter in these pictures!?? Your tutorials make everything seem so simple!
ReplyDeleteDisney, these are so cute!! And did you make that adorable owl? If so, do you have a tute on her?
ReplyDeleteKatie: Yes, I made it! I copied one I saw at Pottery Barn :o)
ReplyDeleteIt would be difficult to do a tutorial, since I sort of free-handed everything, but I will have to see what I can come up with one of these days!
Oh, my goodness, they're so cute! I need to make one. :)
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I love them! Your pictures just make everything so complete:).
ReplyDeleteI definitely love these! Thanks for the cute pattern.
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute....thanks for the compliment. I think I see you as the "famous blog" instead of the other way around...haha. Big hugs to you for guest posting :)
ReplyDeletedarling!
ReplyDeletecute pictures as always :)
Just a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave today [24 May 02:00pm GMT]. Thanks, Maria
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute. I love the owl too. Do you have a tutorial on how to make them?
ReplyDeleteSuper fun! I think this would be the cutest baby shower gift with a copy of "THe Hungry Caterpillar". Very Clever!!!
ReplyDeleteSo simple and CUTE. I love you Disney! :)
ReplyDeleteWell done!
ReplyDeleteSo cool! thank you for your blog Disney! i love everyone of your posts...I´m learning a lot! kisses from spain!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Adorable pattern, thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteDisney, I love everything you make and I second the owl pattern. He is too darn cute! One small comment, my younger DD had a "taggie" type toy with ribbon loops and she wrapped it around her finger really tightly. Sadness! When I make your cuddle bug I will sew a line down the center of the loops to prevent trapped fingers. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creations.
ReplyDeleteHaha ok, thanks! I know I can figure it out, but I figured I'd ask anyway! :)
ReplyDeleteyou have the best blog I have seen I have loved every page., You are soooooo very clever, thank you for sharing. I have become a follower.,love from Glenda
ReplyDeleteYes do please, come up with an owl tutorial if you can. I know the one at PB you are talking about and they are way too expensive--I really like yours...please tell me how to make one?? PLEASE...please?
ReplyDeleteDid I say please?
Oh and please.
Thank you, Disney :)
