Tutorials
I finally got around to adding a "tutorials" section on my link bar up top! Phew! What a lot of copying, pasting, and photo-resizing that was! But I hope it helps out a little with site navigation! I know how frustrating it is to scroll down for 30 minutes to look for something you saw once. Some of the tutorials are in more than one category, because I couldn't decide where they belonged. :o)
Just click the pictures to see the categories!
I Love it!!! Thanks so much, I can imagine how much work you put into it!!

ReplyDeleteOne question- I'm lving the bag you made in the first tutorials collage, but I can't find it when I click on the tutes...
Keep in mind I have a 4 month old who just got her shots today, so I might be bleary eyed and just missing it...
Thanks for everything you do for us. Checking your blog every day and getting creative ideas is a ray of sunshine for me. You are truly a blessing. :)
Love to all of you, Marta
Yay! Great work! You have inspired me to teach some friends about sewing with your basics series. Not everyone has a mother to learn from who sews, but now lots of girls can learn from you online :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome!

MLW: Oh! You're right! I did miss that one, and one other one too, I'm so glad you mentioned it! They are up there now!
ReplyDeleteI've been so buys I haven't gotten to comment much,, but I've been loving everything and it all looks so lovely! You're so talented and wonderful! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you!!!! That had to have been a time-consuming task, but it will be helpful to all the people who love your blog. Thank you, Disney!
ReplyDeleteDarn it! I was letting the fact that you didn't have one talk me into thinking maybe it wasn't needed. I should know better though as it's always one of the first things I look for on a blog. At least my blog is new and it shouldn't take long, still a lot of work so I can't even imagine how much work you had to do. Categories is a good idea, hadn't thought of that. Not sure how you got that to set up though (like how you got the items in tat category to show up when you click the category). Going to take a closer look.
ReplyDeletethank you soooo much. that will help us find things so much easier
ReplyDeleteoh thank you so much for posting them into categories!!! That must have been so much work :) :)

Your hard work is very much appreciated. Looks great too!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is like my one-stop reference for anything related to sewing! Thank you so much for doing these tutorials! I'm a beginner sewer so everything is pretty much Greek to me! I do have one question on your scarf tutorial...do you wind the elastic thread on the bobbin the normal usual way? Won't it stretch some when you use the machine to wind up the elastic thread on the bobbin? Or is that ok? Thanks! - Gigi
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Thanks for doing this. Love the collages, too!
ReplyDeleteyou rock!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love looking at your blog, such GREAT ideas. I am obsessed with ruffly things so your blog is right up my alley! Thanks for organizing your tutorials, I use a lot of them!
ReplyDeleteHi Disney! Your contact button isn't working for me so I hope you don't mind me contacting you by leaving a comment instead...
ReplyDeleteI have a quick question for you.
I get so many emails, as I'm sure you do too, from new sewers asking what kind of machine I recommend they buy. Since I work with an old vintage Singer I never know what to say. I'd like to write a post about what a few of my favorite sewing bloggers recommend...do you have one?? I'll link back to you on the post too of course. (:
Thanks!! You can email it to me at samstermommy@gmail.com
Your work is truly awe liscous. Yes-I just made up that word. I love your ideas, your little touches, lets just say I wish you were my neighbor and we could be friends! Keep up the incredible work! You are truly an inspiring woman!
ReplyDeleteHello! I was trying to send an email/message but I wasn't able to click on the contact link for some reason. I love your stuff and your tutorials!! I wanted to send you a JCrew clothing link (not sure if anyone knows they sell adorable clothes for children). Unfortunately, the prices are not very affordable (at least not for me). I thought you might be able to recreate/make tutorials for a few of the looks or at least use them as inspiration for other projects =)
