Just a Quick Idea...
White cards.
Fun, right? They're so peaceful! And you don't have to buy any fancy papers.
I thought of this last night as I was enjoying some time alone with Beethoven after my little darling had gone to bed. Lately I can't get enough of calm, quiet, peaceful things. Sounds boring, I know. Maybe it's just my way of contrasting the toddler-ness of my life. :o)
Anyway, this was a very quick and easy project (white card stock + a glue stick), and I think it would be fun to make a set for a Christmas present or something!
love this idea! and anything calming :)
ReplyDeleteA set for a Christmas present! Such a great idea! Why doesn't Beethoven pass on this creativity when I listen? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a new addict to your blog. I'm learning to sew and you're site is one of my favorites. I've already made the hat/scarf out of a sweater (mine didn't turn out as cute as yours, but that's okay). And I'm doing the Simple T-Shirt Scarf as well. Soon I'll be moving onto skirts and pants for my kids.
ReplyDeleteYou've helped inspire me to make almost all my Christmas presents myself this year! Thanks! And this card idea is a super cute one as well.
Very awesome! And great idea to make them for Christmas! I think I've probably told you before: I love this blog and I wish I could sew like you and have your creative genius brain! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I can totally relate to just wanting quiet after spending your days with a toddler. Sometimes I find myself driving in the car without the radio if I don't have the kids. It feels kind of awkward but so nice!!
Awesome idea!!!
ReplyDeleteSo clever, I love the idea!
ReplyDeleteI love the buttons! Would make a great baby shower or wedding card. I will definitely use this idea!

I agree with you on everything calming :) It's hard to find that peace somedays, but when you do, it is such a blessing!
ReplyDeleteI love these! Great idea. Perfect for a Christmas gift! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThey are really lovely, actually, and very elegant and soft looking! I am new to your blog and discovered you through entre card, but I am following now and will be back! You have great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and classy. I really like the one with the two flowers on the right side.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute idea! I'm going to have to try this!! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
They are calming and beautiful! Thanks for sharing the idea
ReplyDeleteI agree. I do like the simpleness and peacefulness of white on white. Very elegant as well.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this... I love white on white... actually, Burke's whole nursery is shades of white. All of the white ends up having a peaceful effect, just like you said. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVELY!
Very cute! I love white on white! And I totally understand the need for calm...I seek calm from the teenager-ness in my life!! :)
ReplyDeleteAs a stay at home mom of a three year old and a one year old, I know what you mean about calm!! I love the cards, very sophisticated. I love your whole blog, you are a woman after my own heart.....making something cute out of something, well, not cute! I am just starting my own blog and I loved what you said about feeling like this craft/design blog world is like a little family. I've noticed that. I see that many of you gals are linked to eachother. That's really cool. I love to see women supporting other women. Thanks for the inspiration. God Bless, Stephanie
